(1110R) The results Stronger security for cloud users, data, and apps "Deployment was fairly simple, and Cloudlock was a great investment from the start," said Garcia. "With secure cloud users, data, and apps, we can assure our datasets remain accurate because we can see what happens to them when they're in the cloud." "Overnight, Cloudlock became an integral part of our cloud strategy, as it's not only given us the tools to monitor our cloud applications, but also delivered insight across our cloud platforms so we can focus investments on mitigating risk—something we've never been able to do before," he said. "With Cloudlock insights, we've been able to build KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to help our leadership and management team understand how we're reducing risk." Cloudlock's new visibility has strengthened protections in Salesforce, Google, and Box. "For example, because we can see account login failures from Asia to the Salesforce account of an employee we know is in New York, we can now detect a brute-force attack in real time," Garcia said. "With Google, we can now monitor how users are installing applications that are tied to their Google account and revoke or ban ones that are not authorized." Parras credits Cloudlock for bringing new context to bear. "Now we can ask the right questions when presented with an incident," he says. "Because we have new knowledge of what users are doing, we can work with them to determine why they're doing it and educate them about policies at the same time." "Cloudlock is helping us identify and organize our assets better while we define and enforce policies for content, collaboration, and remote application access, all while shedding light on the many applications connected to our system so we can better control their use," said Garcia. "Ultimately, that lets us properly assess and adjust our security posture if needed so we can continue to keep our users, data, and apps safe in the cloud." " Cloudlock became an integral part of our cloud strategy, as it's not only given us the tools to monitor our cloud applications, but also delivered insight across our cloud platforms so we can focus investments on mitigating risk."
